Job Description:

  • Developing Sales Strategies: Crafting and implementing effective sales strategies to meet company goals.
  • Managing the Sales Team: Recruiting, training, and mentoring sales staff to enhance their performance.
  • Setting Sales Targets: Establishing realistic and challenging sales targets for the team.
  • Monitoring Performance: Tracking sales metrics and analyzing team performance against targets.
  • Building Customer Relationships: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Forecasting Sales: Predicting future sales trends based on historical data and market conditions.
  • Collaborating with Other Departments: Working with marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any course in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • An MBA can be beneficial for higher-level positions.
  • Several years of experience in sales, often with a track record of success.
  • Previous roles in leadership or team management can be crucial.
  • Has the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Has understanding in customer needs and building relationships.
  • Have skills in developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Proficient in negotiating contracts and deals such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or others relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
