Purchasing Officer

Job Description:

  • Oversee the procurement process from supplier sourcing to delivery.
  • Maintain and update inventory records.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective purchase of materials and supplies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs.
  • Ensure that purchases comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge on inventory management and procurement software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
